  • All transactions, categories, bank accounts, and investment data remain on your Mac
  • Data is stored using Apple's Core Data framework locally
  • Backups are handled through your Mac's standard backup systems (Time Machine, etc.)

Data You Import

  • When you import CSV files, the data is processed locally on your device
  • Imported data is never sent to any external service
  • File processing happens entirely within the app

No Third-Party Services

Personal Finance Dashboard does not use:

  • Cloud storage services
  • Analytics platforms
  • Advertising networks
  • Social media integrations
  • External APIs or web services

Data Security

  • Your data is protected by macOS's built-in security features
  • The app uses Apple's sandboxing technology
  • Access to your data requires access to your Mac user account

Data Export

  • You can export your data at any time through the app's export features
  • Exported data is saved to locations you choose on your Mac
  • You maintain full control over your exported data
